I was born in Virginia Beach, VA but raised Philadelphia, PA. I officially started learning photography in a Urban Photography program at Moore College in 2015 which was also the same summer I got my first camera. Through those classes I began to learn the technical and artistic effects that make up a single photograph. As I finished up high school, my passion towards documentary photography helped guide me in my future academic decisions as well as assisting me in finding my identity and voice as political activist and passionate young black woman. I will be continuing my photography education at Syracuse University in fall of 2017.
